Established in 1980 by Shintarou Miyamoto, also the building's owner, Christie Harajuku has become a favorite place by many to enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake. Being one of the first places in Japan to follow the British style of serving scones with their tea, Christie Harajuku quickly developed a faithful patronage.
Today, the relaxing atmosphere and delicious menu items keep our valued customers coming back and often refer to Christie as a "home away from home".
