Yokoso Christie!

Established in 1980 by Shintarou Miyamoto, also the building's owner, Christie Harajuku has become a favorite place by many to enjoy a cup of tea and slice of cake. Being one of the first places in Japan to follow the British style of serving scones with their tea, Christie Harajuku quickly developed a faithful patronage.

A second cafe was opened up in Toshimaen in 1985 and particularly caters to the morning and afternoon patron. Today, the relaxing atmosphere and delicious menu items keep our valued customers coming back and often refer to Christie as a "home away from home".
